Matt gave the Giants a formidable No.5 hitter behind Will Clark and Kevin Mitchell in '90. A big power hitter, he smashed 33 home runs and led the NL in RBS in his frst full major league season.
Matt wears his socks tucked in at the knees, also does uncanny imitation of the batting stances and swings of such bygone greats as Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson and Pete Rose.
